I am a mom of 2 children, a wife, a professional, a daughter, friend, sister, the list of the roles I play is long, and for that, I am so grateful. It can also be super overwhelming at times, knowing I want to be the best at all of them, all of the time.
My 6-year-old is a carbon copy of me, so she knows exactly how to bring out the best and the worst in me as a mom. It is the "worst" part that is always devastating. 
 
In going through this course and talking with Sarah and Erin, I realized my biggest challenge was communication. I was setting unrealistic expectations for both my daughter and myself. So focused on wanting to fix and move on, that I wasn't listening and appreciating how we got to the challenges. Throughout this course and my video chats with Erin & Sarah, I was able to build a little conversation "toolbox" for both my daughter and me. These word phrases, breathing exercises, and pausing moments were true turning points in our day-to-day interactions. 
 
For example, my daughter suggested that we really needed a three-breath hug the other day when we weren't seeing eye to eye. Such a gratifying moment for her to express and want to resolve at 6. Meet Your Instructors

Erin spent over 20 years teaching kindergarten and first grade. She is a Mindful Schools Certified Mindfulness Instructor and has taught mindfulness to students, parents, teachers, and school administrators. She loves to help kids and adults become Happy Humans through experiencing the power of presence, self-compassion, and gratitude. 

Sarah has taught mindfulness and yoga to people ranging from 2 to 102. She has led health and wellness programs all over the world. With her Masters in the Art of Teaching and a background in adventure education, she loves creating fun and engaging teaching environments where children can learn, laugh, and be themselves.

FAQs

Will we have access to the entire course once it's purchased?

No. You will be given access to one module per week, so that you and your child have ample time to dive into the content before moving on to the next module. We suggest completing one lesson per day.

Will my child and I be participating in this course during live scheduled times with the course instructors?

No. This is a self-paced digital course. All of the lessons are pre-recorded, so you will be able to participate at times that work for you and your family.

How long will this course take?

The beauty of this course is that it's self-paced and can be done in your own time from anywhere. We suggest you complete one lesson per day. You and your child could finish this course in four weeks. 

How long is each lesson?

The video lessons for children vary in length from 4-15 minutes.  Most of the audio meditations for mom vary between 4-15 minutes as well.  

How long will I have access to the course?

You will have access to the course for 1 year after purchase date.
