Meet Your Instructor

Erin has always had a passion for helping kids. As a former kindergarten and first grade teacher, she saw how self-compassion, empathy, and gratitude can change kids’ and adults’ lives. It wasn’t until she encountered mindfulness that she learned that anyone can learn to nurture these skills.

Mindfulness transformed Erin’s life after she suddenly lost her husband in 2016 in a tragic work accident. Learning to focus on the here and now with compassion and gratitude helped her remain positive so she never lost her zeal for life.

Seeing that the skills of mindfulness can be strengthened through practice, Erin decided to merge her passions for teaching and mindfulness to empower others. As a Mindful Schools Certified Mindfulness Instructor, she has taught mindfulness to students, parents, women, teachers, and school administrators.

Her heart lights up when she sees children and adults loving and accepting themselves and fully enjoying their life.

She passionately believes that teaching focused attention, compassion and self-care to students, teachers, parents, and families will help foster Happy Humans everywhere.
